OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

NOVEMBER 20TH, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

WRESTLE TALK PODCAST PRESENTS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS WITH

LARRY PAPPAS AND CHUEY MARTINEZ

The Wrestle Talk Podcast with Joe and Rene is proud to announce that, on Wednesday, November 20th, we will have two exclusive interviews.

At 7:30 P.M., we will have the opportunity to talk with accomplished lounge singer and professional wrestling author Larry Pappas. Born in January 1965 in New Jersey, Larry Pappas has become one of the most historic lounge singers of all time. He was the only child to a single mother that struggled to raise him his entire life. He was no stranger to hardship. His mother was never there for him and he was constantly told he would never amount to anything. His rise to fame wasn’t an easy one. Audition after audition, nobody would allow him to perform in their establishment. They didn’t understand his art, his ability to capture a crowd, to silence an audience when he began singing. He finally got a break from a new club in town that needed talent to fill up an open mic night. The rest was history. Larry hit his peak in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, performing at some of the most sought-after clubs in the country. But, like a lot of artists, he got caught up in a wayward lifestyle of drugs and disappeared from the public eye for almost nineteen years. Larry was recently located in a retirement community under an assumed name. Nobody believed his stories about his life. All of that changes when he called into a Kansas City, Missouri professional wrestling podcast under his real name and shared his extensive knowledge of the professional wrestling world. The host of the podcast also found it hard to believe the stories that Mr. Pappas was telling on air. After doing some research, the host found an old club known as The PM Crown in Kansas City and proceeded to find Mr. Pappas at the retirement home. Since being on the podcast, Larry Pappas has regained his confidence. He has since performed two weddings and has done several shows in the retirement community. He has also his first book, which highlights his first-hand knowledge of the professional wrestling world, being published. Larry also has an upcoming podcast, “Larry Pappas vs. The People” that is set to debut in February 2020. It will feature special guests sitting face-to-face discussing real world topics.

At 8:30 P.M., the Wrestle Talk Podcast will have the opportunity to sit down and talk with one-half of the Juggalo Championship Wrestling tag team champions, Chuey Martinez. Chuey Martinez made his professional wrestling debut in 1997 at age fourteen. After nearly a decade in professional wrestling, Chuey Martinez was introduced to death match wrestling by Prince Fonteno, Super T, and the Necro Butcher in 2006. Over the course of his career, Chuey Martinez has competed for such professional wrestling promotions as Anarchy Championship Wrestling, FIST Combat, IWA Mid-South, IWA Deep South, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, Combat Zone Wrestling, Neuva Generacion Xtrema, Xtrem Mexican Wrestling, and Zona Extrema Xalapa. Chuey Martinez has competed in some of the most brutal death match tournaments in the world, including IWA Mid-South’s King of the Death Match and Double Death tag team tournament, IWA Deep South’s Carnage Cup, and Xtreme World Wrestling’s Carnage Cup. Please tune in to the Wrestle Talk Podcast as continue to bring you the best in the world of professional wrestling.

WRESTLE TALK PODCAST PRESENTS AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH

WOMEN OF WRESTLING’S SOPHIA LOPEZ AND “THE SON OF THE SOUTH” FRANKIE D

The Wrestle Talk Podcast with Joe and Rene is proud to announce that, on Wednesday, October 16th, we will have two exclusive interviews.

At 7:30 P.M., we will have the opportunity to talk with Women of Wrestling’s Sophia Lopez. Sophia Lopez came from humble beginnings in Mexico and gained her reputation as “the greatest attorney in the world” by defending celebrities who got into trouble in Las Vegas. Many professional wrestling fans first came to know this amazing advocate after her masterful maneuvering with the Women of Wrestling tag team Caged Heat, as she got their criminal record expunged, allowing the team to become the Women of Wrestling tag team champions. Sophia continues to have her hands in several important moments at WOW.  She is an advocate and a facilitator for justice anywhere she sees it, and with her increasingly international world of influence, only time will tell if there is some as yet unknown larger plan in her impressive mind.

At 8:30 P.M., we will have the opportunity to talk with “The Son of the South” Frankie D. Residing on Lot #101 of the Starlight Mobile Home Park in Whiskey Creek, Mississippi, Frankie D has spent nearly thirty years in the sport of professional wrestling. A former singles and tag team champion in countless professional wrestling promotions throughout the midwestern United States, “The Son of the South”, has accomplished a great deal in the world of professional wrestling. In addition to competing inside the professional wrestling ring, Frankie D has trained many individuals for professional wrestling through his former training facility, the “The Ring of Courage”. A brawler with underrated amateur wrestling skills, “The Son of the South” has been recently been accompanied to the ring by his steel enforcer “Bam Bam”. One thing is for certain when you get in the professional wrestling ring with “The Son of the South” Frankie D…you are in for a fight. OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

SEPTEMBER 24TH, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

WRESTLE TALK PODCAST PRESENTS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS WITH

LUCHADORA SERPENTINE AND SELINA MAJORS

The Wrestle Talk Podcast with Joe and Rene is proud to announce that, on Wednesday, September 25th, we will have two exclusive interviews.

At 7:30 P.M., we will have the opportunity to talk with Women of Wrestling’s Luchadora Serpentine. Claiming to be an ancient queen from a time when reptiles ruled the Earth, no one knows for sure where the mysterious Serpentine came from, but she slithered into the wrestling world like a predator on a mission. Having been brought to Women of Wrestling by “the Greatest Attorney in the World” Sophia Lopez, many people are betting on this sinful snake’s rise to power and the Women of Wrestling championship. Cold-blooded, calculating, smart and lethal, Serpentine brings a unique challenge to the competitors of Women of Wrestling, as they face a competitor who is ever-changing and shifting, like a snake shedding its skin.

At 8:30 P.M., we will have the opportunity to talk with Women of Wrestling’s head trainer Selina Majors. During her childhood in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Selina Majors was always taught that wrestling was a man’s sport. Women were just warm-up matches and were never the main event. Selina and a few other talented ladies challenged that perception and demanded respect for their abilities. Selina had her pride and she wasn’t going to let any other wrestler, man or woman, show her up. A true fan favorite, it didn’t take long for Selina Majors’ name to become synonymous with women’s wrestling. Her bouts became the stuff of legend and she toured all over the world. One rival, another Georgia wrestler named Thug, took particular offense to being shown up by Selina. When Selina joined Women of Wrestling, Thug followed. Selina blamed Thug for preventing her from taking the Women of Wrestling Championship, sparking the greatest feud in Women of Wrestling history. The ring veteran is also a trainer for new wrestlers, and sometimes the brash, physically gifted youngsters can’t relate to the dues Selina had to pay to open the doors they are now walking through. Those young wrestlers have found that if you don’t give Selina her respect, she might just beat it into you. Recently, Selina brought a new wrestler to Women of Wrestling, her relative Jessie Jones, to back her up. Together they are going to show everyone what Southern Pride is all about! Tune in to the Wrestle Talk Podcast as we continue to bring you the best in the world of professional wrestling.
